1.)  It All Starts with the Perfect Mix 

 Every great product begins with precision. Using a specialized batching system, our team carefully measures and dispenses the exact blend of raw materials and pigments to ensure consistent color, strength, and quality in every batch. 

2.)  Preparing for Perfection 

Before the first handful of mix is placed, every mold is meticulously cleaned, inspected, and assembled. This attention to detail ensures every texture, edge, and design detail is captured with remarkable accuracy.

4.) The Art of Hand Tamping

Here's where experience makes all the difference.

Unlike automated manufacturing, the Hand Tamp process relies on skilled craftsmen who carefully pack the concrete mix into every corner of the mold by hand. This time-honored technique removes air pockets, increases density, and creates the crisp details and lasting durability RockCast is known for.

It's not just a process—it's a craft perfected through years of hands-on experience.

5.) Strength Through Teamwork 

Once the mix has been fully compacted, the mold is carefully removed to reveal the freshly formed custom cast stone product. Some molds weigh more than 200 pounds, making teamwork essential. Every lift is coordinated with precision, demonstrating the trust and communication that define this department. 

6.) The Finishing Touch 

Every piece then moves into the hands of our finishing craftsmen. Edges are refined, surfaces are perfected, and every detail is carefully inspected to ensure it meets Reading Rock's uncompromising standards for quality, consistency, and appearance.

This is where good becomes exceptional.

6.) Cured to Last 

Quality doesn't stop at craftsmanship. Each product spends 24 hours in a controlled curing environment, allowing the custom cast stone to develop the strength and durability required for decades of performance.

Before leaving our facility, every product receives one final inspection. It is then carefully packaged to protect the craftsmanship invested in every piece, ensuring it arrives at its destination ready to become part of a remarkable project.
